It's been about 8yrs since I was at Mt Hood skiing in the summer. I've never seen it this good in July. The snow was typical summer snow, hard in the morning and creamy corn after 10am. It brough back lots of memmories from my first years at ski camp to some of my last with the USST. I ran into all kinds of skiers from across the US at ski camps run by Mt Hood Summer Ski Camp, Tichy Racing, Park City, Squaw Valley, Diamond Peak, masters, the US Disabled Team, Sugar Bowl Ski Team and more. I came up to hang at the Atomic Test Center in Govy, pick up some new skis and boots. Red Bull's web editor Jamey Voss also came out for a day to take a few runs. I mostly just cruised around on my GS skis, but got a few runs in Squaw's GS course. Good times on snow now at the airport heading home.
