Look at where it is now!  2nd story above garage and main house is coming to life.  IT's easier to conceptualize the lay out with walls, windows, rooms and ceilings built.  It's raw, but there are some details coming out on garage and seamless fit of all posts and glue lams.  

 Sugar Bowl Resort announced a new addition to their lift system on the Judah side.  It accesses one of my favorite spots during storm days and days after.  It's a doubled edge sword.  Good for those who want it all, but a bummer for those who hike and earn their perfect pow turns.  The lift has yet to be named, but two names stick out.   "Chairway to Heaven" or "Stash".

this is a day to remember from last season in the newly chair accessible area.  Still a protected and secret spot that's tough to find.  photographer: Grant Barta

 In the last 9 days we've made solid progress.  Driveway was laid down, power was hooked up, garage slab was poured, sub floor framed, plumbing and HVAC installed, East and North garage and master bath walls framed and sub floor rolled out.  I've been nailing, cutting and installing the easy stuff and taking over the grunt work when I can.  I brought Miley and Dreyson out for a look today and found some wood to climb and plywood to jump off of.  The footprint of the home looks much bigger now with the floor in and a few walls up.  Attention to detail is what I've picked up the last few days.  Mace who owns and runs Mountain View Construction is getting it done like his shirts say, "Nailing it in Truckee"

This track is so fun to ride and it's the closest prepped track to Truckee at a 45min drive.  I got in some good motos and finished off the day with my 2006 Baja 1000 teammate Randy "Diesel" Hood #331.
